Gary Pathare
Gary Pathare (M.Ed. TESOL, Newcastle University) has taught English and been a teacher trainer and materials and examination writer in the UAE, Spain and Italy since 1990. His main professional interest is in developing new teaching approaches and materials to support them, in particular focusing on learner needs in specific contexts. Gary is author and co-author of many ELT coursebooks and materials for major publishers. He has also published chapters and papers in ELT publications in a variety of pedagogical areas, including teaching vocabulary, writing, spelling and literacy, innovation in teaching with IT, and developing within the ELT profession. He has presented at many international conferences, and has extensive experience in examining for IELTS and Cambridge exams. Gary is also an item writer for Cambridge Assessment English exams, and a writer and reviewer for the British Council APTIS test.

Christien Lee, who has dual Canadian and British citizenship, has worked in English Language Teaching for more than 20 years. His roles have included teacher, teacher trainer, curriculum developer, materials writer, director of studies, consultant, and author. In addition, he founded and ran an award-winning private language school in Canada for almost ten years. He has wide experience in ELT, but specializes in academic English and, particularly, exam preparation. Currently, his focus is on developing innovative e-learning materials and writing textbooks.
